We offer a free money and debt advice service in Stevenage. We are passionate about bringing hope into what often seems an impossible situation, helping lift the burden of debt, working together to achieve realistic budgets, and finding individual solutions.
Our service is tailored to your individual circumstances and includes use of video conferencing, telephone, mobile, messaging, email, and post. Depending on your preference, we offer face-to-face appointments or online appointments, (e.g using Zoom).
SMDA can support you through debt solutions including Debt Management Plans (DMP); Debt Relief Orders (DRO); Bankruptcy; Administration Orders; and Full and Final Settlements. If an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) is a suitable option, we can also refer you to an IVA Practitioner.
If you wish to improve your money management skills, we can offer the CAP Money Course which can be run in person or online, in groups or on a one to one basis.

Our advisers at SMDA are fully trained and qualified and offer free and confidential face to face support. We will assess your situation, suggest the best courses of action for you, and support you in your chosen route out of debt. If you wish, we can talk with your creditors on your behalf which could help to reduce some of the stress you may be experiencing. SMDA is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority so you can be confident of the quality of advice you will receive from us.
